Outread for iPad: Speed Reading App

Speed reading is one of the most underrated skills to have these days. Being able to read books, articles, and educational material faster could give you an edge over your peers. Nobody is born a fast reader. You need practice to improve in this area. Outread for iPad is an elegant application that gives you practice using your own reading material.

Outread lets you speed read through websites and documents. It syncs with Instapaper, Pocket, and Readability. The app has a clean design and supports offline reading. You can add Microsoft Word, .rtf and .txt documents. Outread does allow you to adjust the reading speed and highlighter size. Unnecessary and distracting parts of articles are stripped out, so you can focus more on reading.

Outread lets you use your own reading material to get practice and improve your reading speed. We did have some issues with Instapaper. Nevertheless, this is a pretty decent speed reading tool.
