Ping Analyzer – Graphical Network Ping

Those of you who have been around networks are probably familiar with network ping tools. These tools can be quite handy in helping you identify potential issues with networks. There are plenty of these tools available for personal computers. Thanks to Ping Analyzer, you can analyze networks on your iPhone and iPad.

Ping Analyzer provides you with real time round-trip times, jitter, and MOS estimation on your tablet. It uses ICMP Echo Request to determine response time for machines being tested. The app puts the relevant data on a graph and saves you time making sense of your tests. Users can change ping count/interval, and packet size settings.

Ping Analyzer does not have too many bells and whistles. But it does what it promises fairly well. A nice tool to have to analyze your networks with. It costs under $2 at the time of this writing, which is not too bad.
