SoundNote

Apple iPad is not only a good tool for reading books and going through presentations, it can replace your paper notebooks too. It does not make any sense to take your iPad to a meeting just to read your documents from it. Not when you can use an application such as SoundNote to type your notes on your iPad.

SoundNote looks like a virtual notebook. You can type and draw your information on it and record audio at the same time. What’s nice about this app is the fact that it links audio and your words. Just tap on a word and find the audio that you were recording at the time of its typing.

SoundNote is different than most of traditional note applications for iPad. Not only you can type your words using this app, you can also use it as a sketching tool. The auto-pause feature for audio is a pretty useful feature too, especially for journalists and innovators.

Once you are done recording, you can just e-mail them to others (meeting participants) or save them to your computer. The recordings don’t take too much space (surprisingly), so you won’t have to deal with gigs of data right from the start. Pretty nice tool to have for journalists and business professionals.
