Ulmon Rome for iPad is a cool app that provides you with a guide for Rome.

Ulmon Rome helps you search and find streets in the city. You don’t need to have WiFi or Internet connection to gain access to the content. 725 articles and 1400 points of interests are available. The app not only provides you with passive GPS but also shows you tourist attractions all around you. You may add your favorite locations to your bookmarks for future references.

Ulmon Rome provides you with a subway map for the city. It helps you find the nearest stops near you. The app has content from Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap. Considering that the app was free at the time of this writing, it is well worth trying. We would love to see more dynamic content added to it though.
