There are many expensive desktop applications available for audio production. Turnado happens to be a handy audio effect app for iPad. It makes real-time audio manipulation easy.

Turnado is a multi-effect tool with intuitive controls. You get 4 XY-pads to control 2 effects simultaneously. The app has an integrated player and recorder. You get audiobus and full Midi support. Controlling effects can’t be any easier. In the Dictator mode, you can control up to 8 different effects with one fader.

Turnado has plenty of loopers, sliders, and filters for you to take advantage of.  It is intuitive to use but very powerful. Not the cheapest app around but if you need a tool for audio manipulation, this is well worth trying.
