Picture Pieces HD

Photo mosaic pieces are always fun to look at. We have seen them created for politicians, brands, and everything in between. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could create your own on the go? That’s what Picture Pieces HD offers. The fun part is Picture Pieces HD uses your very own pictures in your library to get the job done.

In order to create a photo mosaic of a specific image, you need to have it available on your iPad (for this application). Once you choose a picture, this app goes to work. It grabs your other images from your library to create your photo mosaic. You can save your mosaic and share it with the world. The app does support pinch to zoom, so you can see what goes into your photo mosaic.

You can always import your images from your digital camera or Picasa (better for larger images). The app is still a work in progress though. It’s already very solid, but it would be nice for users to have more options as far as the photos used in their photo mosaic.

Picture Pieces HD is a wonderful app to own if you have always wanted to create your own photo mosaic from your own pictures.
