Ancestry

If you have watched popular TV channels recently, chances are you have seen commercials for Ancestory.com. It is a cool service that lets you keep track of your family tree and discover your old family lines more easily. Thanks to Ancestry for iPad, you can access your trees on your tablet, edit them, and upload new information to them.

In order to take advantage of Ancestry on your iPad, you need an account with Ancestry.com. This tool does allow you complete your tree on your tablet. You can add notes, upload photos, and add new branches to your family tree. Uploading documents and other historical information is supported too.

We found Ancestry to be smooth and very well done. It does not crashes and works quite well on iPad. Introducing an offline mode would be nice though.
