RadarScope for iPad has great graphics. Whether you are a weather enthusiast or a meteorologist, this app has something for you. It shows you tornado, severe thunderstorm,and the flash flood warnings issued by the NWS. You can interact with the app as well. The names of over 25000 cities and towns are available. The data is updated every few minutes or so.

RadarScope is not the cheapest app around but it saves you time keeping up with the latest weather information in your area. It may be an overkill if you just need the temperature information though.
