News apps seem to be on the rise, especially on iPad. Developers are finding creative ways to deliver the news on iPad and save their customers time. FLUD is one of those apps. It’s a fun newsreader that that transforms your feeds and gives you a more attractive way to keep up with the latest news right on your iPad. It’s based on a similar concept as Pulse Reader and almost as dynamic.

FLUD’s main strength is its interface. It’s super attractive and makes going through stories much more fun. The app lets you go through your personally chosen feeds and search through them. Just like solutions such as Google Reader, you can “like” your favorite articles and let other FLUD members find out about it. Removing/re-order feeds is supported too.

FLUD is social media ready. Articles can be shared on Facebook or via e-mail. You can keep track of all your “loved” article at all times, which is nice.

FLUD does have potential and can go far. The developers do need to add more customization features to challenge other competing apps more effectively. Is FLUD better than Pulse Reader? You be the judge.
