Ascendancy for iPad

While gamers still buy games for their Xbox and PS3 systems, more are getting used to the idea of playing games on their iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. There are all kinds of games available for the iOS platform. I am personally a big fan of strategy games. Ascendancy is a sci-fi strategy game that challenges you to mange your planets and engage in battle.

Ascendancy brings a sci-fi playground to your iPad. This is a turn-based strategy game. You have 21 different alien species that you can choose to lead. Each of them have their own unique characteristics, themes, and approaches. The weapons, shields, and other gizmos you find in this game all help in your battle. You control ship movement, weapons, shields, attacks on ships, and other areas. Of course, you can always choose diplomacy if you don’t want to engage in combat.

Ascendancy is quite a fun game if you are interested in turn-based strategy games and want to try one with a sci-fi flavor. It does take a bit of time to learn how to play this game. But it has potential.
