There are certain calendars that are based on the state of the moon (especially in the Middle East). Most calendar apps focus on helping users keep up with their activities. Lúan – Lunar Calendar is not one of those calendars. It keeps you informed on the phases of the moon at all times.

Luan has an attractive interface and provides all kinds of information on the moon. Moon and Sun rise/set times for your location can be very helpful if you are using those information to fast or do other things. The images are very high quality too.

Luna is not for everyone. There are better calendar apps out there if you are not looking for information on the Moon. But for this specific purpose, Luna delivers what it promises. The images are high quality and the local information are extremely handy.
