WD 2go for iPad

Western Digital is behind some of the best hard drives around. They do have some reliable products that consumer rely on to store files. The cloud-based products by WD are not that bad either. If you have one of those (e.g. My Book Live), you are going to need WD 2go. It is cool app gives you access to all the documents, photos, and videos you have stored on your hard drive.

WD 2go makes accessing all the files, music, videos, and photos you have stored on your personal account easy. You can copy your files between your WD cloud storage account and Dropbox. Files can be downloaded for offline access. The app also gives you the option to share file links via e-mail. This automatically discovers and connects to WD personal cloud storage devices which is nice.

WD 2go did crash on us a few times. But it is still a decent app if you own one of WD’s cloud-based systems. The app is available for free at this point.
