Racing games can be quite a lot of fun to play with on your iPad as long as you manage to get your hands on decent ones. Many racing games offer killer graphics but not-so-great game play. Whacksy Taxi does not fit under that category. It is an exciting arcade game that is full of action and can kill a lot of your time.

Whacksy Taxi is developed to bring you speed and action. Your goal is to get through cities unscathed. It has 35 levels for you to choose from (in 7 cities across the U.S. map). It offers you multi-lane action with all kinds of cars coming your way. You can always increase your speed with bonuses (or get a time boost for that matter). Players do have the option to jump over cars when stuck.

Whacksy Taxi is OpenFeint compatible. It has 9 unlockable achievements to make things more exciting. The music is pretty decent too ( has 8 high-energy tracks). The graphics may not be 3D but they are more than adequate for this game’s purpose.

To summarize, Whacksy Taxi is one heck of an arcade racing game that will keep you entertained and kill time like no other app. A great game to play alone or with others.
